In a world increasingly divided and hostile, churches face a pivotal choice—remain siloed and divided or pursue God-ordained Oneness in the body of Christ. The Body & The Blood explores how the circulation of believers across denominations and the pursuit of true “uprightness” can strengthen our collective witness while preserving the rich diversity of our faith. Discover a path to true Oneness and a more powerful, influential faith.

The Body & The Blood focuses on three
Key Themes:

Uprightness Oneness Relationships

Uprightness

The upright person “presents God to the world” and shines as a positive example for others to see. Without it, Christians cannot be One, and cannot effectively represent Christ to a fallen world. Yet, the characteristics of uprightness are some of the hardest human traits to attain and maintain—even Christians fall short.

Oneness

From Genesis to Revelation, God’s Word calls for Christians to be One, unified as believers in the body of Christ with Him as its head. Fortunately, Oneness does not mean uniformity, unity, or even unanimity, and does not require us to give up our doctrines, practices, and preferences. It does, however, require Christians to think, speak, and act differently than we do today.

Relationships

It’s impossible to build Oneness in the body of Christ from within a church silo, isolated from Christians in churches across town or across the street. If God-ordained Oneness is to grow, we must leave our silos and break down the ethnic, social, geographic, and denominational barriers that divide us to create faith-strengthening relationships with other Christians.
